据《能源年》6月7日曼谷报道，周一，泰国国家石油公司宣布，泰国油（PTTEP）已决定继续其在Arthit海上气田建设泰国首个碳捕获和存储设施的计划。
2021年启动的一项可行性研究最近结束。该设施的预FEED研究正在进行中，预计该设施将于2026年投入使用。
这一决定符合泰国到2050年实现碳中和、到2065年实现净零碳排放的承诺。PTT勘探和生产公司设定了到2050年实现净零碳排放的目标。
这家国有能源公司此前与日本企业合作，在日本部分地区使用CCS技术。

PTTEP to launch Thailand’s first CCS project
PTT Exploration and Production has decided to go ahead with its plans to build Thailand’s first carbon capture and storage facility on the Arthit offshore gasfield, the NOC announced on Monday.
A feasibility study launched in 2021 recently concluded. A pre-FEED study is underway, with commissioning of the facility expected in 2026.
The decision is in line with Thailand’s commitment to become carbon neutral by 2050 and attain net zero carbon emissions by 2065. PTT Exploration and Production has set a target to have net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
The state-owned energy company previously collaborated with partners in Japan on using CCS technology in other areas of the country.
